Giving¶
How do I make a one-time contribution?¶
An organisation's page shows only its monthly tiers. For a one-time gift, go to
members.aikyamfellows.org/<organisation>/donate and choose One time. Payment is
handled by Razorpay — UPI, cards, or net banking, in INR.

How does recurring giving work?¶
Choosing a monthly amount sets up a mandate with Razorpay — an authorisation that lets Razorpay charge you again each month without asking you each time. Razorpay decides which methods can carry a mandate: UPI Autopay or a card e-mandate. Net banking and wallets can be used for a one-time gift but not for a mandate.
What payment methods are accepted?¶
UPI, cards, and net banking through Razorpay. There's no PayPal, Stripe, crypto, or gift cards on this site.

What currency is this in?¶
Indian Rupees (INR).
Do I need an account to give?¶
No — you can give as a guest, with just your email address. Signing in first lets you manage the contribution afterwards and see it in your receipts automatically (see Getting started).
Is my name shown publicly?¶
No, not unless you ask for it. If you're signed in, every contribution is currently made anonymously ("incognito"), with no option to change that. If you're giving as a guest, there's an unticked Show my name on the public page checkbox — leave it unticked to stay anonymous, or tick it and add your name to be credited publicly.
Who at the organisation can see that I gave?¶
The organisation's admins and its fiscal host (the registered non-profit that receives the money and issues your receipt) receive your email address. Your full legal name and address are also shared where a receipt needs them, for tax purposes rather than public display. See the privacy policy on members.aikyamfellows.org for the full detail.
